FlyGate and the YouTube hall of fame
After watching FlyGate last night I started Googling all my favourite YouTube videos. It’s hard to imagine that YouTube has only been around for four years. Amazing how many people have become celebrities because of YouTube. Without further ado, here the top 5 that I never get bored of.
Kiwi – If you don’t shed a tear at the end of this animation, then you have no feelings. Also check out this Mad World version of Kiwi. It’s even sadder than the original…
Back Dormitory Boys – I nearly peed my pants when I saw this the first time. The Boys went on to make a series of these videos, followed by live “performances” on talk shows around the world and became Pepsi front men in their native China.
Evolution of Dance – Admit it. When you saw this, you tried half the moves and failed miserably.
Will it Blend? – Brilliant piece of viral marketing for Blendtec blenders. This YouTube series has been on air for nearly 3 years now and just gets better with time. My favourite has to be the iPhone episode for pure “What were they thinking?” value. And no, it did not blend.
Potter Puppet Pals – For the “They have too much time on their hands” chapter. Still, pretty freakin funny! Especially after a couple shots of vodka.
Pretty good post. I just came by your blog and wanted to say
